Tasting Note
A medium‑to‑full bodied Premier Cru with pear, citrus oil, hazelnut and buttery pastry notes. Satiny texture, vibrant mid‑palate and precise, persistent finish; shows slight reduction initially—benefits from air.
Food Pairing
Western: lobster with beurre blanc, roast chicken, buttery scallops, creamy pasta, aged Comté. Asian: miso‑glazed cod, soy‑ginger scallops, seared tuna nigiri, roasted duck with hoisin, lightly spiced coconut‑based dishes.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Chardonnay; gentle pressing, fermentation and élevage in oak barrels (mix of sizes), limited new oak, 11–18 months on the lees, minimal filtration to preserve purity.
