Tasting Note
Bright cherry and red-berry fruit with floral and spice notes, subtle oak, vibrant acidity and savory tannins; medium-plus body, lively and approachable with a long, cheerful finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, grilled beef, mushroom risotto, aged Manchego; Asian: Korean bulgogi, char siu pork, teriyaki duck, spicy Sichuan beef.

Production Method
Fermented in stainless steel (partial malolactic in oak); aged 12–14 months in new and once-used French fine-grain oak and single-use American oak; bottled after >18 months bottle aging.

Macán is a joint project of Tempos Vega Sicilia and Benjamin de Rothschild (Domaines Barons de Rothschild); vineyards on limestone, sandy-clay soils in the Sonsierra (San Vicente de la Sonsierra and nearby villages). Focus on selected Tempranillo parcels.
