Tasting Note
Rich dried fruits, raisin and fig with ginger, orange peel, dark chocolate, toasted oak and warm baking spices; full-bodied, viscous mouthfeel and a long, warming finish with candied citrus and clove.

Food Pairing
Western: dark chocolate, matured cheeses (blue, aged cheddar), roast beef or venison, toasted nuts. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, miso‑glazed salmon, rich Japanese curry, spiced Szechuan beef.

Production Method
Distilled from 100% malted barley in copper pot stills, then matured a minimum of 18 years exclusively in Oloroso sherry‑seasoned European oak casks; natural colour, married from multiple hand‑selected casks.

The Macallan, licenced to distil in 1824 and based at Easter Elchies House on the Macallan Estate, is owned by the Edrington Group and renowned for its sherry‑cask maturation program.
