Tasting Note

Powerful Pauillac: ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, tobacco and dark spice. Full-bodied with firm ripe tannins, minty freshness, mocha oak influence and a long mineral finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, ribeye, beef stew, venison, mature hard cheeses. Asian: Korean BBQ (galbi), Cantonese roast pork/char siu, Peking duck with hoisin, beef rendang or Sichuan beef with moderate spice.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled vats; partial malolactic in barrel/vats; aged ~18 months in ~75% new French oak; estate bottled.
