Pale-gold chardonnay: lemon crème, lime zest, baked pear, and baking spices with a flinty, stony minerality. Medium–full, bright acidity and a creamy, hazelnut-tinged finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast chicken, mushroom risotto, lobster with butter sauce, creamy pasta, pork loin. Asian: miso-glazed black cod, tempura, milder Thai coconut curries, soy-butter scallops, Chinese roasted duck (lighter preparations).
Production Method
80% barrel-fermented, 20% tank-fermented at low temperature; ~60% malolactic fermentation; aged 12 months on lees in French oak (≈20% new, 80% 1-year).
Vineyard Info
Luca is Laura Catena’s terroir-driven project rescuing old vines. G-Lot grapes come from high‑altitude Adrianna/Gualtallary plantings (~1,400–1,500m) focused on expression and sustainability.
