Tasting Note
Black plum, dark cherry and cassis with black licorice, fennel and gravelly earth. Integrated oak adds sweet spice, resin and mint; full-bodied with dusty, ripe tannins and a long, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, roast lamb, mushroom risotto. Asian: Korean BBQ/bulgogi, Chinese-style char siu or braised beef, Sichuan beef, Peking duck with hoisin.

Production Method
Destemmed grapes underwent a two-day cold soak, 15–20 days maceration with 2–3 pump-overs daily; lots aged separately, then blended and matured ~16 months in French and American oak (portion new).

Founded by Louis M. Martini (Monte Rosso purchase 1936), the house is known for Napa Cabernet sourcing premium valley and mountain sites; now part of E.& J. Gallo with over 90 years of history.
