Tasting Note
Rich honeyed orchard fruits, baked apple and pear, milk chocolate, vanilla custard, toasted oak, warm ginger and baking spice; long, gently peppery finish with subtle citrus and malted barley notes.
Food Pairing
Western: roast pork, aged cheddar, dark chocolate, crème brûlée. Asian: miso-glazed salmon, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), yakitori, aged soy-marinated dishes.
Production Method
Traditional malted barley, double pot-distilled at Longmorn and matured ~23 years in mainly ex-bourbon (with occasional sherry influence) oak casks before bottling at c.48% ABV.
