Tasting Note

Straw-gold color; aromas of dried apricot, yellow peach, citrus peel, white flowers and gentle spice. Warm, full-bodied palate with lively acidity, mineral/saline notes and a long, elegant finish.

Western: grilled/swordfish, seafood pasta, roast poultry, soft-ripened cheeses, shellfish. Asian: sushi/sashimi, Vietnamese grilled fish, Chinese seafood stir-fries, mildly spicy Thai curries.


Production Method

Hand-harvested grapes vinified separately with cold maceration; fermented and aged in Allier oak barriques (controlled temperature), blended and rested in oak before bottling.

Aziende Agricole Livon, family-owned since 1964 (D. Livon). Estate in Collio produces Gran Cru Braide Alte from selected Dolegna del Collio parcels, famed for longevity and international awards.
