Tasting Note
Bright red/purplish fruits (blackcurrant, plum, red cherry) with floral (violet) and tobacco/cedar notes. Fresh acidity, medium body, supple, coated tannins and a medium-length, savoury finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, grilled ribeye, beef stew, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, beef bulgogi/Korean BBQ, red-braised beef, mild-mapo tofu with rice.

Production Method
Fermented in stainless steel/temperature-controlled vats; matured ~12 months in oak (≈20% new); blended from younger-vine parcels as Château Lagrange's second wine.

Les Fiefs de Lagrange is the second wine of Château Lagrange (St-Julien), an 1855 Classified 3rd Growth. Estate extensively replanted and modernized after acquisition by Suntory in 1983.
