Tasting Note
Blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry with cedar, violet and graphite; medium-full body, fine-grained tannins and spicy, lingering finish with floral and orange-zest notes.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, grilled steak, duck confit, cassoulet, hearty stews, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (BBQ pork), Korean bulgogi, Sichuan-style dry-fried beef, grilled lamb skewers.

Production Method
Selected fruit from ~30-year-old vines; fermented in temperature-controlled tanks, early blending and aged ~13 months in French oak (20% new). Vinified with Grand Vin methods.

Vineyard Info
Château Lagrange is an 1855 Third Growth in Saint-Julien, owned by Suntory since 1983. Les Fiefs is the estate’s second wine, created in the 1980s and vinified from younger parcels (~30 years).
