Tasting Note
Fresh, perfumed red-fruited nose (raspberry, redcurrant, lilac) with subtle cedar and spice. Lively palate with integrated, velvety tannins, bright acidity and a clean, medium-length mineral finish—approachable and fruit-driven.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, beef ribeye, steak frites, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, beef bulgogi, mushroom and soy stir-fry, grilled Korean BBQ.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; rigorous sorting; fermentation in temperature-controlled tronconical stainless-steel vats (18–21 day maceration), micro-oxygenation and co-inoculation; ~14 months ageing in three-year-old oak barrels; egg-white fining.

Produced by Château Calon-Ségur (Troisième Cru Classé 1855) as the estate’s third wine. Sourced mainly from younger vines; estate owned by Suravenir; consulting oenologist Éric Boissenot; precision viticulture on gravel/clay soils.
