Tasting Note
Concentrated black cherry, blackberry and plum with violets, licorice, graphite and cocoa. Silky texture, bright freshness, fine-grained tannins and a long, saline, perfumed finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, grilled ribeye, duck confit, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ, mushroom hot pot, Chinese red-braised beef.

Production Method
Hand-harvested grapes; fermented in stainless steel and oak; matured 12–16 months in French oak barrels (≈50% new).

Vineyard Info
Purchased by Jacques Thienpont in 2010; 8 hectares on the Saint-Émilion plateau; Thienpont family management; limestone-clay soils with low yields and small production.
