Tasting Note

Delicate, fine mousse with brioche and fresh-bread aromas, white peach, citrus and subtle honey. Creamy texture, lively acidity and a dry, lingering finish with hints of red berry from Pinot Noir.

Production Method

Méthode traditionnelle: hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed, bottle-fermented with extended lees ageing (~30–36 months), disgorged and lightly dosed (low dosage).

Family-owned Kumeu River, established by the Brajkovich family in 1944; acclaimed for Chardonnay and quality estate-grown fruit from around 30 ha in Kumeu, Auckland.
