Tasting Note
Intensely perfumed sweet wine with apricot, orange marmalade, honeysuckle, jasmine, honey and lychee; notes of ginger, nutmeg, lemon curd and lanolin. Lively acidity balances rich sweetness, finishing long, pithy and slightly bitter.
Food Pairing
Foie gras, blue cheese and aged cheeses, crème brûlée, apricot or almond tart; Peking/roast duck, ginger‑orange glazed salmon, Thai mango sticky rice, mildly spiced curries and sweet Asian desserts.
Production Method
Late‑harvest Muscat de Frontignan hand‑picked in multiple passes; batches vinified separately, fermentation left to stop naturally to retain residual sugar; aged ~18 months in 500L oak (50% new) then 18 months in large oak foudres before blending.
