Tasting Note
Intense bright red with violet hues. Aromas of ripe cherries and plums with chocolate and coffee from oak. Smooth, silky entry, round integrated tannins, medium body, balanced acidity and a long, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled steak, roast lamb, mushroom risotto, tomato-based pasta. Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), soy-glazed pork, duck with hoisin or Peking-style preparations.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Merlot from Vistalba; fermented in temperature-controlled tanks with maceration on skins; aged ~6-12 months in French oak barrels, then bottled after resting.

Vineyard Info
Kaiken was founded by Aurelio Montes in 2002. Mendoza-based estate sourcing fruit from Vistalba and Uco Valley; Ultra series uses old-vine parcels to produce concentrated single-varietal wines.
