Tasting Note
Deep garnet with violet highlights. Ripe black fruits, black pepper, cedar and cigar-box aromas. Powerful, concentrated, with soft rounded yet firm tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, beef stew, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi/galbi), Chinese-style braised beef, char siu, Indonesian beef rendang, Sichuan pepper beef.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; fermented in stainless/tank and aged 12 months in French oak (≈1/3 new, 1/3 second-use, 1/3 neutral), followed by bottle aging.

Vineyard Info
Kaiken (Kaiken by Montes) launched by Aurelio Montes in 2002. Sourced from an old pergola vineyard (planted 1974) in Vistalba; estate in Mendoza focused on quality site selection.
