Tasting Note
Perfumed black-plum, blackberry and mulberry aromas with violets, pepper and baking spice. Medium–full-bodied palate of dark berry compote, cassis and subtle oak, framed by fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, fresh finish.

Grilled ribeye, roast lamb, barbecued brisket, aged cheddar; Asian pairings: Korean BBQ, char siu, Sichuan pepper beef, teriyaki beef, miso‑glazed eggplant.
Production Method
Cold-soak and open-top fermentation with gentle pump-overs; malo-lactic conversion; matured 12–13 months in oak (predominantly American with some French oak).

Lodge Hill Vineyard (east of Clare) purchased by Jim Barry in 1977; Shiraz planted from 1979. Jim Barry Wines is a family-owned Clare Valley producer founded 1974.
