Awards/Ratings

Consistently highly regarded by critics and merchants; related Bachelet Bienvenues vintages have earned top scores . Exact scores vary by vintage and release

Tasting Note

Concentrated Grand Cru Chardonnay: white peach and pear, lemon zest, toasted hazelnut, honeycomb and saline mineral notes; bright, driving acidity with a creamy mid-palate and a long, resonant finish.

Food Pairing

Western: lobster or langoustine with beurre monté, scallops, roasted monkfish, creamy pasta, roast chicken, mature Comté or Gruyère. Asian: miso‑glazed black cod, tempura, sushi (fatty tuna/seafood), Cantonese steamed fish, mild Thai coconut curry.

Production Method

Hand-harvested Chardonnay; native-yeast fermentation and slow élevage in French oak (extended barrel aging ~18–24 months, limited new oak); vineyards farmed organically/biodynamically (working towards certification).
