Tasting Note
Concentrated cassis, blackcurrant and mulberry with violet, mint and clove. Medium‑full, bright acidity, powder‑fine tannins and a long, graphite‑tinged finish.
Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short rib, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu (Cantonese roast pork), Szechuan beef, miso-glazed aubergine.
Production Method
Estate-grown fruit (very low yields), hand-harvested, small-batch fermentations; matured 18 months in French oak barriques (45% new). Unfined; produced with organic/biodynamic practices.

Grosset Wines, founded by Jeffrey Grosset in Clare Valley. Gaia vineyard planted 1986 at high elevation (560m), rocky soils, biodynamic/organic farming and extremely low yields produce concentrated fruit.
