Hand-harvested fruit; fermented and matured in French oak barriques (c.50% new) with minimal intervention; no fining, bottled after extended settling.
Vineyard Info
Gaia Vineyard (planted 1986) is a tiny, windswept two-hectare site at the highest point of Clare Valley. Grosset (founded 1981) farms it low-yield and close-planted for concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc.
