Tasting Note
Crisp, lime- and lemon-driven riesling with roasted pineapple, green apple, lychee and juniper notes. Very bright acidity, delicate mid-palate richness and a long, stony, almost bone-dry finish.
Food Pairing
Grilled prawns, lemon sole, roast chicken, goat cheese, Thai green curry, spicy Sichuan dishes, sushi/sashimi, Vietnamese spring rolls.
Production Method
Sourced from ACO-certified organic/biodynamic Rockwood Vineyard. European-style vinification: cool fermentation (stainless steel), slight residual sugar, unfined, vegan-friendly and sealed under screwcap.
Vineyard Info
Produced by Grosset Wines (Jeffrey Grosset), established 1981. Alea is from the Rockwood estate vineyard—planted 2001–2018—and farmed biodynamically for low-yield, terroir-driven riesling.
