Bright cherry and red-berry fruit with floral and citrus hints, subtle terracotta/mineral notes from amphora aging; crisp acidity, balanced tannins, full-bodied and savory with an elegant, persistent finish.

100% Sangiovese fermented and macerated in terracotta amphorae (~11 months), bottled and aged (~12 months). Organic viticulture; no oak, gentle micro-oxygenation from terracotta.

Il Borro estate (owned by the Ferragamo family since 1993) farms organic, eco-sustainable vineyards in Valdarno di Sopra and produces small-batch, tradition-driven wines including amphora-aged bottlings.
