Blackberry and cassis with violet, mint and tobacco notes; hints of cedar, anise and cocoa. Polished, talc-textured tannins, lively acidity and a long, savory finish.

Production Method
Hand‑picked fruit, 100% destemmed and whole‑berry sorted; 4‑day cold soak, ~18 days on skins, basket‑pressed; aged ~15 months in a mix of new and used Bordeaux barrels.

Hickinbotham Clarendon Vineyard (planted 1971) in the hills of Clarendon, McLaren Vale; sold to the Jackson family in 2012 and farmed with organic/biodynamic practices producing premium Cabernet fruit.
