Tasting Note
Deep purple; aromas of blackberry, plum and blueberry with black pepper, balsamic eucalyptus, toasted vanilla and light smoke. Full-bodied, ripe fruit, firm fine-grained tannins and a long persistent finish.

Western: roasted red meats, lamb, game (venison/javali), rich stews, barbecued beef, aged cured cheeses. Asian: char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi/galbi), Sichuan-style beef stir-fry, grilled teriyaki beef, rich soy-based braises.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Alicante Bouschet; fermented in stainless and oak vessels; aged ~24 months in French oak (new) with subsequent bottle ageing (9–18 months).

Herdade do Rocim estate (Baixo Alentejo) owns ~120 hectares, ~70 ha planted with vines. Winery opened in 2007; known for low-yield plantings, stone-influenced soils and modern cellar architecture.
