Tasting Note
Opaque, concentrated. Aromas of black and blue fruits, plum, cedar/toast and smoky mineral notes. Full-bodied, ripe firm tannins, layered oak and spice with blackberry, fruitcake and a long, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, grilled ribeye, beef stew, aged cheeses; Asian pairings: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), braised short ribs, rich curry.

Production Method
Hand-harvested and sorted; fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel lagares with traditional maceration/punch-downs; matured about 12 months in French oak barrels.

Soares family estate in Albernoa, Alentejo (≈80 ha). Modern, sustainability-focused project producing Malhadinha labels alongside olive oil and hospitality since the 2000s.
