Tasting Note
Pale garnet with bright ruby hues. Perfumed red cherry, raspberry, rosehip, red liquorice and bergamot; layered palate of red berries, plum and cherry with rose petal, nutmeg, crushed herbs, minerality, refined tannins and fresh acidity; long finish.

Food Pairing
Western: braised duck, osso buco, slow-cooked lamb, truffle risotto, charcuterie, aged Parmigiano-Reggiano. Asian: Peking duck, hoisin-glazed pork, Korean BBQ (galbi), mushroom hotpot, milder mapo tofu, char siu.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; fermented on skins for five months; matured 11 months in 100% seasoned French oak hogsheads, then blended and bottled.

Henschke is a historic family-owned producer in Eden Valley. Stephen and Prue expanded Cyril Henschke’s plantings, introducing Nebbiolo in 2003 on rocky north-facing slopes; 'The Rose Grower' honors the Roesler family.
