Tasting Note

Sémillon-dominant, concentrated and round: citrus and stone fruit, resinous/waxy notes, flint/mineral, orange pith and fresh acidity, culminating in a long, complex finish.

Western: foie gras, lobster with beurre blanc, grilled scallops, roast chicken with cream sauce, shellfish. Asian: sushi/sashimi, steamed whole fish with ginger & scallions, lobster dim sum, lightly spiced Cantonese dishes.

Hand-harvested (Sept 3–11, 2014); vinified in oak, aged with 54% new barrels; bottled June 10, 2015.
