Tasting Note
Fresh herbal nose of green apple, pear, pine and mint; bright citrus and honeyed malt on the palate with a light peat smoke and cedar oak; clean, green-tea finish with lingering minerality.

Production Method
Single malt from 100% malted barley, distilled in copper pot stills at Hakushu; matured about 12 years in a mix of American oak, sherry and select casks (including Mizunara influence in some stocks); bottled at 43% ABV.

Produced by Suntory at the Hakushu ‘Mountain Forest’ Distillery (est. 1973). Known for mountain spring water, forest-influenced character and meticulous Japanese craftsmanship.
