Tasting Note
Pale gold. Bright citrus and orchard fruits (lemon, pear) with honeyed notes, toasted nuts, buttered toast and soft spice. Creamy oak texture balanced by saline minerality and vibrant acidity; elegant, fresh finish.
Food Pairing
Halibut with lemon butter, steamed mussels, roast chicken, twice-baked cheddar soufflé; Chinese steamed dumplings/dim sum, sushi/sashimi, lightly spiced Thai fish dishes.
Production Method
100% whole-bunch pressed; fermented in barriques and puncheons at cellar temperature; aged 10 months in French oak (20% new, 80% old); bottled August 2023.

Gusbourne Estate, planted from 2004 on an ancient escarpment at Appledore, Kent. Founded by Andrew Weeber; grows Burgundian clones (95, 548) across Kent and West Sussex and produces estate-only vintage wines.
