Tasting Note

Concentrated black raspberry, cassis and dark cherry with violet, cracked black pepper, smoked meat and cedar. Polished yet muscular tannins, vibrant minerality and a long, savory finish.

Production Method

Parcels vinified separately; temperature-controlled stainless-steel fermentations; ≈4 weeks maceration; blended and aged about 38 months in new French oak.

Maison Guigal, founded 1946, owns premier Côte‑Rôtie parcels around Ampuis (Côte Blonde & Côte Brune). Château d'Ampuis is the house flagship, made from old vines on seven top lieux-dits.
