Tasting Note

Deep tawny colour with complex nutty aromas, hints of honey and figs. Palate shows rich, mature stone and dried fruit, toasted nuts and caramel, finishing long, smooth and mellow.


Food Pairing

Western: blue cheese, almond tart, crème brûlée, apple pie, chocolate desserts. Asian: Chinese egg tarts, red-bean desserts, mango sticky rice, sesame or almond cookies, sweet-savory dishes like Peking duck.


Production Method

Blend of reserve wines fortified with grape spirit to stop fermentation; matured an average of 10 years in seasoned oak casks and then carefully blended and bottled.
