Tasting Note
Pale yellow; crisp and dry with bright citrus and grapefruit notes, delicate floral aromas, and a long, refreshing, slightly saline finish.
Food Pairing
Serve chilled as an aperitif; pairs with grilled prawns, ceviche, smoked salmon, goat cheese, salads and light tapas (Western). Also works with sushi/sashimi, spicy Thai salads, Vietnamese spring rolls and light dim sum (Asian). Excellent in Port & Tonic cocktails.
Production Method
Blend of traditional Douro white grapes fermented longer to reduce residual sugar, then fortified with grape spirit to c.19% ABV; kept in stainless or neutral vessels to preserve fresh fruit character.
Vineyard Info
W. & J. Graham’s, founded 1820 and now part of Symington Family Estates, sources grapes from Douro estates (e.g., Quinta dos Malvedos) and specializes in traditional fortified port production.
