Awards/Ratings
Contemporary reviews note it as a well-textured Marsannay
Tasting Note
Deep red cherry and black-fruit core with spice, forest floor and subtle iron/mineral notes. Silky texture, fresh acidity and moderate tannins; balanced, poised and slightly earthy with a lingering, savory finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, beef bourguignon, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, soy/miso-glazed salmon, braised short ribs (soy-based), mushroom or pork ramen.
Production Method
Hand-harvested grapes, destemmed and sorted. Indigenous-yeast fermentation with pre-ferment cold soak; matured ~12–14 months in French oak (partial new oak), minimal fining/filtration.
Vineyard Info
Family domaine founded 1954 (Edmond Géantet & Bernadette Pansiot). Run today by Vincent and son Fabien; ~20–22 ha holdings across Côte de Nuits, farming sustainably with careful parcel selection.
Delivery is typically completed within 5–7 business days from the date payment is received.
