Tasting Note

Herbaceous and intense nose with light citrus; very bitter, persistent palate featuring quassia, gentian, pomegranate and green tea; warming, slightly herbal finish.

Western: charcuterie, aged cheeses, grilled/roasted pork, rich stews, tapas. Asian: spicy Szechuan dishes, Korean BBQ, yakitori, tempura, sushi with citrus or pickled ginger.


Production Method

Handcrafted botanical infusion/maceration of bitter roots and herbs (quassia, gentian) with pomegranate and green tea; blended using the brand’s secret 'Pasta Madre' aromatic base.
