Tasting Note
Clear, intensely aromatic mirabelle plum fruit: fresh orchard florals, ripe yellow-plum, marmalade and honeyed almond notes, with a warm, lightly spicy finish and vibrant freshness.
Food Pairing
Western: pâtisseries, tarte aux mirabelles, almond cake, blue cheeses, roast pork or duck. Asian: fruit‑based desserts, mooncakes, light dim-sum, glazed pork (char siu), or served with green tea to cleanse the palate.
Production Method
Fermented mirabelle plums from estate orchards and double-distilled in copper stills (two-pass distillation). Some expressions rested briefly; older reserves matured in neutral vessels for extended rounding.
Vineyard Info
Produced by the Grallet‑Dupic family distillery (Maison de la Mirabelle) at Rozelieures; grower‑distillers of mirabelles since the late 19th century with an estate of orchards and in-house distillation.
