Tasting Note
Mahogany hue; aromas of candied apricot, dried fruit, old port and cigar-box rancio. Palate is velvety, rich and layered with dried fruit, warm spice and oak, finishing exceptionally long and silky.

Western: dark chocolate, crème brûlée, tarte Tatin, foie gras, blue cheese, caramel desserts. Asian: Peking duck, five-spice pork, mooncakes, miso-glazed dishes, spiced nuts.
Production Method
Estate-grown grapes, double pot-distilled (alembic), aged for decades in oak casks in dry cellars; blended from the family reserve (many eaux-de-vie 30–50 years).

Frapin is a single-family estate (since 1270) based in Segonzac with ~240 ha in Grande Champagne; family-owned for multiple generations and produces estate-only cognacs.
