Blackcurrant and blackberry with violet florals, licorice, cedary oak and ironstone minerality. Medium–full body, firm fine tannins, bright acidity and a long, savory finish—classic cool‑climate Frankland River Cabernet.

Organic fruit from Isolation Ridge; slow open‑pot fermentation (≤27°C) with plunging and extended maceration; matured in 500L French oak puncheons; minimal intervention; bottled under screwcap.

Family-owned Frankland Estate, founded 1988 by Judi Cullam and Barrie Smith. Isolation Ridge vines on ironstone/gravel loams; converted to organic viticulture and run by the second generation Hunter and Elizabeth Smith.
