Tasting Note
Glossy amber; aromas of dried apricot, candied orange, honey, caramel, toasted nut and walnut. Silky, concentrated palate with balanced sweetness and bright acidity, elegant oak and a long, slightly rancio finish.

Italian cantucci (almond biscotti), blue cheese, foie gras, panna cotta, almond tart; Asian: mango sticky rice, sesame balls, sweet red-bean desserts, mooncakes, lightly spiced duck with hoisin.
Production Method
Hand-harvested grapes left to dry (appassimento) on racks, gently pressed, fermented and aged oxidatively for several years in small oak 'caratelli' (100L) barrels before bottling.
