Tasting Note
Dark cherry and raspberry with dried herbs, tobacco, and forest-floor notes; chalky, fine-grained tannins, lively acidity, subtle vanilla and earthy mineral finish.

Food Pairing
Western: bistecca alla fiorentina, grilled lamb, roasted pork, aged Pecorino, pasta al ragù. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu, mushroom stir-fry, Sichuan braised beef.

Production Method
De-stemmed; fermented and macerated in stainless steel 14–16 days (28–30°C) with punchdowns/pump-overs; aged ~12–16 months in Slavonian oak and used French barriques, then bottle-aged.

Fèlsina estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga; Poggiali family stewardship since 1966; first Berardenga vintage 1967. Estate focuses on Sangiovese; winemaker Franco Bernabei.
