Tasting Note
Fresh cherry and wild red berries with lavender, mint and rosemary; earth, iron and tobacco notes, baking spice and a mineral undercurrent. Bright acidity, supple yet firm tannins and a long, savory finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Sangiovese; destemmed and fermented in stainless steel (12–16 days at ~28–30°C) with programmed punchdowns; matured mainly in medium Slavonian oak (plus some used barrels) for about 12 months, then bottled and rested.

Fèlsina, founded mid-1960s in Castelnuovo Berardenga, produces estate Sangiovese from vineyards at 320–420m. Berardenga was first released in 1967 and is a core Chianti Classico label alongside Rancia and Fontalloro.
