Tasting Note
Medium-bodied Sangiovese showing cherry, wild red berries, dried rose, tobacco and savory herbs; bright acidity, fine dusty tannins and a saline-mineral streak leading to a long, energetic finish.

Food Pairing
Western: pappardelle al ragù or lasagna, bistecca alla fiorentina/grilled lamb, aged pecorino or Parmigiano; Asian: char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Peking duck, umami braised pork, tomato-based Sichuan dishes.

Production Method
Estate Sangiovese is de-stemmed, fermented and macerated in stainless steel ~12–15 days (28–30°C), then aged ~12 months in medium Slavonian oak and some used French oak barrels before bottling.

Fattoria di Fèlsina, founded 1966 in Castelnuovo Berardenga (southern Chianti Classico); family-run estate focused on Sangiovese clonal selection and sustainable/organic practices. Berardenga is the estate's widely produced Chianti Classico bottling.
