Awards/Ratings
Domaine praised by critics (William Kelley/Wine Advocate calls Fabien Coche “one of the most underrated sources of high‑quality white Burgundy”)
Tasting Note
Peach and orchard fruit with citrus, white flowers and hazelnut; creamy, slightly toasty oak and pronounced minerality. Rich and round yet taut acidity gives a long, palate‑staining finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast chicken, lobster with beurre blanc, mushroom risotto, creamy pasta, grilled scallops. Asian: miso‑glazed black cod, tempura prawns, soy‑ginger glazed salmon, delicate sushi or sashimi, mildly spiced Thai or Vietnamese dishes.
Production Method
Hand‑harvested; whole‑cluster pressing, cold settling; fermented and aged 11–18 months on lees in French oak (limited new oak c.15–20%) and large foudres; often bottled unfined/unfiltered.
Vineyard Info
Family domaine founded in 1940 (formerly Coche‑Bizouard), now run by Fabien Coche; ~12 hectares across Meursault and neighbouring communes, moving to organic farming and working many old vines. Village parcels include Dressoles and Malpoiriers.
Delivery is typically completed within 5–7 business days from the date payment is received.
