Tasting Note
Ripe black cherry and plum with violets, dark chocolate, truffle and loamy earth. Medium–full body, polished firm tannins, concentrated fruit and spice, finishing long and savory.

Western: roasted lamb, beef ribeye, duck confit, mushroom risotto, braised short ribs. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), Korean BBQ (galbi), braised beef short ribs (galbi-jjim), shiitake mushroom stir-fry or braised eggplant.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, optical sorting, fermented in small concrete vats; matured ~16–18 months in French oak (often ~50% new). Second wine produced from selected parcels and only in certain years.

Château Trotanoy (≈7 ha) is owned by the Moueix family (Jean‑Pierre/Christian Moueix). Renowned Pomerol estate; L'Espérance de Trotanoy introduced in 2009 as a limited-production second wine.
