Tasting Note
Concentrated, full-bodied Shiraz: blackcurrant, black cherry, dark chocolate, cedar, clove and cinnamon spices, subtle char/meaty notes, firm rounded tannins and fresh acidity with a long oak-tinged finish.

Roasted or grilled lamb, beef short ribs, venison, aged cheddar; Asian pairings: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu, spicy Szechuan beef, rich Indian lamb curry, Malaysian rendang.
Production Method
Hand-harvested old-vine fruit; open-top fermentation with plunging/pump-overs, malolactic fermentation, matured in new French/American oak puncheons/barrels for extended aging (c.18–30 months). Single-vineyard selection.

Elderton is a family-owned Barossa producer (est. 1982) known for old-vine Shiraz from estate sites at Nuriootpa, Greenock and Craneford; the Fifteen comes from very old Greenock vines. Elderton has a long history of classic Barossa Shiraz production.
