Tasting Note
Deep crimson with intense blackcurrant and blackberry compote, dark chocolate, cedary oak and savoury herbal notes; full-bodied, powerful palate with fine chewy tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, beef stew, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu pork, Cantonese roast duck, Sichuan pepper beef, teriyaki beef.

Production Method
Estate-grown fruit (Nuriootpa 62%, Craneford 38%). Fermented and matured ~18 months predominantly in older French puncheons; finished under screwcap.
