Tasting Note
Light golden colour. Floral and honeyed nose with apricot, white peach, tangerine and orange marmalade. Rich, mouthfilling palate of apricot, caramel and gentle spice, bright acidity and a long, harmonious finish.
Food Pairing
Western: foie gras, pâtés, blue cheeses, apricot tart, roasted poultry with creamy sauces; Asian: Thai green curry, mildly spicy Szechuan dishes, mango sticky rice, seafood or mushroom risotto with soy-umami accents.
Production Method
Hand-picked aszú berries (multiple passes), gently crushed and soaked in base wine ~12 hours, long pressing, fermented in stainless steel, aged 2 years in 225L oak barrels (mostly older), bottled June 2020.

Disznókő is a historic First Growth Tokaj estate (single-contour vineyard, ~110 ha) instrumental in the modern Tokaj renaissance; owned by AXA Millésimes and known for top-quality Aszú production.
