Tasting Note
Pale straw with lemon peel, white peach, oat/porridge and subtle nutty/oak notes. Mouthfilling texture, bright saline acidity, lemon-custard and stonefruit flavors, finishing gently creamy and balanced.
Food Pairing
Western: seared scallops, grilled halibut, roast chicken with mushrooms, creamy pasta. Asian: miso‑glazed cod, tempura prawns, chicken katsu, mild coconut curry.
Production Method
Certified organic fruit from Wrekin Vineyard; native/wild yeast fermentation; aged in large 900L French oak puncheons; minimal sulfur, unfined and unfiltered; low-intervention approach.

Deep Down is a boutique Marlborough project founded by Clive Dougall and Peter Lorimer, working with certified-organic Wrekin and Ashmore vineyards to produce small-batch, low-intervention wines.
