Tasting Note
Powerful, muscular Nuits with concentrated red and black berries, floral lift, spice and earthy/forest-floor notes; silky texture, firm ripe tannins and a long, mineral finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, beef bourguignon, mushroom risotto, grilled lamb, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (BBQ pork), soy-braised short ribs, miso-glazed aubergine, mushroom hot-pot.

Production Method
Hand-harvested fruit from organically farmed vineyards (Ecocert); fermentations commonly include a high percentage of whole clusters, gentle pigeage/foot-treading and élevage in French oak barrels.

Family domaine founded by Pierre Duband in 1965; David took over in 1991. ~17 ha across Côte de Nuits with Premier and Grand Cru holdings; certified organic since 2006.
