Awards/Ratings
Positive review by Neal Martin (Vinous) noting fragrant citrus, saline finish and recommendation; drinking window cited 2025–2033. 5%
Tasting Note
Citrus and white orchard fruits with floral and light patisserie notes, bright saline minerality and a lemongrass-tinged finish. Fresh acidity, polished texture and medium-plus concentration with a long, precise aftertaste.
Food Pairing
Western: oysters, scallops, lobster, grilled/roast chicken, creamy mushroom risotto, buttered lobster roll. Asian: sashimi/sushi, miso-glazed black cod, tempura prawns, delicate Chinese steamed fish with ginger and spring onion, light Thai fish or shellfish dishes.
Production Method
Certified organic/biodynamic viticulture; hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed, native-yeast fermentation; parcels vinified separately, aged ~16–18 months in French oak (≈20–25% new) then blended and finished in tank.
Vineyard Info
Domaine de la Vougeraie (created by merging historic holdings in the late 1990s under the Boisset group) farms ~34–37 ha with many Côte d'Or sites; this cuvée is from Rue aux Vaches, Noyer Bret and Aux Paupillots plots above Puligny.
