Tasting Note

Ripe citrus, green apple and pineapple framed by intense chalky/flinty minerality, hints of smoke and licorice, concentrated texture with bright acidity and a long saline finish.

Biodynamic/organic viticulture; fermentation in oak (600L demi-muids and larger foudres) with ~11–12 months élevage, followed by cuve rest and bottle ageing.

Single‑vineyard from the Monts Damnés (Mont Damné) in Chavignol; tiny holdings (≈0.6 ha) owned by Domaine Didier Dagueneau, now run by Louis‑Benjamin and Charlotte Dagueneau. Soils: Kimmeridgian marl and flinty limestone.
